About Me
Hi, I’m Alison, a mum to three precious children. I have two much loved, very active and intelligent boys and one very special little girl.
I have always been interested in the art of baby massage and all my children have benefited from this therapeutic method of touch as babies. My middle child suffered terribly from constipation as a baby and also had bad nasal congestion, eventually having to have his adenoids out at the age of three. We believe that my little girl suffered from teething pains from a very early age. They all experienced different forms of touch and massage to help reduce their discomfort whilst easing the stress and tension related to their suffering.
My baby girl particularly enjoyed her baby massage sessions. She would lie still and coo and just look around her with interest. She loved the attention and at the end of the session, she would wait patiently for her milk and then have a really good sleep.
Baby Massage can play an integral role in helping provide babies with the best possible start in life – health, happiness, security and a feeling of being loved.
It is a great way to spend time strengthening and nurturing your attachment and bond with your baby whilst helping both you and your baby feel more relaxed. Nearly every parent will say that their baby has suffered with colic, teething or sleep problems at some time or another. Baby massage will aid these ailments and so much more.
You will grow in confidence in handling your new baby and with patience and commitment, babies especially sensitive to touch will learn to enjoy it.
I have been fully trained by hands on babies and my qualification is accredited by the Complimentary Therapists Association (CThA), Embody and the Independent Professional Therapists International (I.P.T.I.). I am fully insured by the Complimentary Therapists Association.
Please come and enjoy one of my courses on offer.
